Would you like to have a cool and trendy smart phone? How about a flexible new smart phone that is the first of its kind? In competition with Samsung’s Galaxy Round, LG has come up with LG Flex. While Galaxy Round curves from left to right the LG Flex curves from top to bottom. The phone gives a meaning to its name ‘Flex’. It is a slightly flexible phone which is incorporated with POLED technology. The self healing phone absorbs the minor scratches that may occur on the back of the device. It will happen when the phone returns to its original shape after being flatten. The display is made out of a plastic substance instead of glass.
The device features most of its important buttons like lock and volume keys, on the back of the phone. Running on the quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 process with 2.26 GHz, the 6inch display looks super cool. The device offers two cameras, the rear camera with 13 megapixels and a 2.1 mega pixel front camera.
The “self-healing” elastic coating is colored in “titan silver” and makes it more user friendly. The device can be flattened and will automatically revert to its glossy original position. The healing of the scratches happens faster in warmer areas than cooler ones. The feature will only work for minor scratches and not for piercings or other deep cuts. It is an interesting device to own with the added scratch vanishing structure. LG owes the screen flexibility to plastic (polymer). However, the display is not as great as the other LG phones, but it is definitely better than other phablets.
LG has unveiled G Flex in India, which is the first curved handset to have launched in the country. The larger display and curves offer a better experience in handling the phone and are extremely useful for video viewing. The trendy device with exciting new features fit comfortably into the palm. The curvy phone makes it delightful for answering calls as it fits perfectly on the cheek.
The LG G Flex is a very enticing gadget with two technologies that have never been launched in the smart phone history. The curved screen and self-healing back are the talk of the town. If you seek novelty in gadgets, it is surely a great option. The Indian launch will only take place in February, next year. The assumed price of the phone ranges between Rs 60,000 to 65,000. It is surely the device for the generation and anyone can become a proud owner of this gadget.

The curved screen and self-healing are very cool and unique I wonder how practical they will be when put to real world tests? The healing feature is very attractive, but I hardly see the practicality of a bendable display, LG will have to actually come up with some great uses for that for me to want to actually get this.
