How to Fix the Low Volume Issues in Razer Tiamat 2.2 Gaming Headset
This low volume problem has been found in many gaming headsets so far. According to my experience, the gaming headset will not sound much clear as regularly, when you put the headset after a system hibernate or wake up. I bought a Razer Tiamat headset 2.2 couple of months ago, and it sounds amazing with my HP DV6 (Beats enabled) laptop. Usually the headset roars fabulously when I play the music on high volume, where as my PC doesn’t give me that amazing experience as my HP laptop. This is not observed in many other laptops or PC’s, which are not beats audio enabled. Well, may be I was lucky enough to get beats audio with my HP DV6.
Issue 1:
Coming to the low volume issue, I found that the headset will sound much lesser when I insert the jack after a system wake up. This means, when ever I put my PC or laptop on sleep, the headset will not be able to recognize the device properly after a wake up. I observed this issue many times, and the only solution to this is your restarting your PC.
Issue 2:
Whenever you are inserting the headset jack pin, make sure to insert the mic jack pin along with it. This makes the headset to realize that the mic is functioning properly, and will be actively cautions about the volume recordings in future. Whenever I insert the audio pin, I make sure to insert the mic pin, which improves the sound quality up to one extent. May be this is not true in your case, but works for me all the times.
Issue 3:
Gently remove your ear cushions from Razer Tiamat 2.2, and clean the surface with a dry cloth. Also blow some air with your mouth in the headset to remove the dust and waste materials gently.
Issue 4:
Check whether the volume button is high up to maximum, else you will be kicking yourself to waste all the time searching for the low volume issue.
Troubleshooting your Razer Tiamat 2.2 headset with the above mentioned steps can improve the over all performance of sound and bass. All these above troubleshooting methods are my personal experiences, and this might not work for all the other headsets apart from Razer Tiamat 2.2. Please leave your comments if you face any issues with this headphone. I have used it enough to answer your query within 24 hours.
